Experimental game environment

My intention for this was to make an efficient base for a side scrolling game, with emphasis on speed and performance above all else. So far I think this is pretty nippy, and will handle thousands of particles that are each running their own collision detection routines to check for collisions with the ground and/or other objects.

I've implemented a 2D water effect which isn't perfect, but I think performs well and could suit a game in this style.
